Just got word the Clone Wars season 3 starts earlier than in my previous post. It premieres on 17 September 2010.

The one with the upcoming TV series
Upcoming release dates of the TV series I follow
Entourage season 7 - now showing
House season 7 - 20 September 2010
How I Met Your Mother season 6 - 20 September 2010
Glee season 2 - 21 September 2010
Smallville season 10 - 24 September 2010
Clone Wars season 3 - 8 October 2010
Among these shows, I'm a big fan of Smallville, which is obvious reasons. I'm a big fan of the genre. They say it could be the last season (but they say that every season). I myself just jumped on the How I Met Your Mother bandwagon, after being introduced to it by my wife. Though I believe it wouldn't take 6 seasons for me to tell my kids (if I should have any) the story how I met their mother. It will just be in one simple line "I met your mum at Uncle Farrish and Auntie Ida's wedding". Clone Wars is because I'm a Star Wars fan, and I believe it should be the last season as the series is about the events between the ill-fated Episode 2 and Episode 3 which was 3 years.
Entourage is currently showing, and we are 5 episodes into the new season. So far it has not been up to expectations and even Ari doesn't have a lot of memorable one-liners. Fortunately there is still time for that. House is simple because I enjoy watching the series. And as for Glee, I'm not really a fan. I just enjoy watching the songs.
Can't wait for all these shows to start.

The one with the Smallville season 7 review
Finally Smallville season 7 has ended. After a lot of uncertainty faced due to the writer's strike, I'm glad it came to a close.
My initial review of the season. Very, very disappointing. After the excitement from the last two seasons, they messed this one up. Especially the way season 6 ended with the surprise introduction of Bizzarro. And season 7 did start with great promise. But it kind of faded as the season wore on and the writer's strike probably effected the story.
Season 7 also saw the introduction of some familiar faces in the DC universe. Mainly Supergirl and also Black Canary. And one villain made his return, Braniac.
The one thing I enjoyed was the evolution of Lex Luthor. Every season we see the darkness creep into him. And probably this season was the final stage of the development of Lex. You can say this is the season Lex finally becomes the Lex we all know from the comics.
To cap the season off, Lex finally knows Clark's secret in the final showdown in the Fortress of Solitude.
Short post, due to my disappointment with the series.

The one where I never found any rhythm this week
Well I guess you've read Faizah's post on the karaoke last weekend in her blog. So I left out a couple of details here and there. But in my defence, it was listed under Jackson 5 and as I recall we haven't done any Micheal Jackson number since we started rocking the scene.
As for the title, well that's hows it been for the first two days. No idea why, but there never seem to find that extra gear. I still do what I'm required to do, but very lacklustre. And honestly my voice has not recovered from last weekends events. So I really sound funny to my clients.
Also last weekend I downloaded the first episode for season 7 of Smallville and first 2 episodes from Prison Break season 3. Well its nice to know that there's something to watch nowadays especially with most series have kicked off their new seasons.
For Smallville, I really expected more since they ended season 6 with a bang. Sadly they couldn't carry on the momentum going into season7. Hopefully it picks up as the season goes by, which is rumored to be the last.
As for Prison Break, well they went for reinvention this season. Same idea, but with a twist. Lets see how the season folds out as it does look promising.
And finally, I have to admit I'm not even on the Heroes bandwagon.

The one Clark and Chloe's discussion (summarized version)
Once upon a time, OK just a couple of hours ago two friends were having dinner while catching up on each others happenings. Lets just name them Clark and Chloe, two best friends from Smallville.
Clark and Chloe were having dinner at a Swedish furniture store's hot dog cafe. Its been some time since they both hang out so it was a good opportunity to catch up on each others lives. Chloe highlighted why Clark always seems to be in relationships which are doom to fail. An interesting thought, which probably requires Clark to do some soul-searching. But Clark had a rough day at the Daily Planet, so wasn't really in the think deep mode. But Chloe insists on an explanation.
So sadly one common reason was Clark gets bored easily. Chloe notices this disturbing trend which makes Clark dangerous and fragile at the same time. Every time Clark meets someone, the rush and excitement is there. After a while, the 'fire' begins to fade away. Maybe after realizing that somehow it would not work or both don't feel the same way or one doesn't dig the other. Then again Clark is tired to really think deep on the whys.
Chloe also notices that recently Clark was very happy with Lois. She asked what happened there? Then Clark begins to display one of his special talents, which is the art of changing the subject stealthily.
Clark realizes he was happy then and wonders what happened? If anything did happen.

The one with the inactive week, Shrek 3 and DVDs
Damn, its been awhile since my last post. Can't really put a finger on why though, but will be explained in this post. If it doesn't make sense then I must be on something.
Well this past week has been uneventful and inactive for me. Didn't really do much. The only piece of sporting action was futsal Tuesday. Had a great game, but got injured towards the end. With that injury I have to lay off for some time to heal. Guess my healing factor powers are beginning to fade.
Also my road tax is due, so I had to get that settled. At least that went through without any hassles, which reminds me I have to put it up later.
Since my salary finally came in from AM and my last half-month pay from Affin, went on DVD spree. Don't know why and whether I have time to catch it but something to fill in the hours. For those for think I have money this month I don't. I have to pay car insurance and road tax.
As for DVDs my purchases include the long-awaited Aquaman..I mean Entourage Season 3 Part 1. Apparently season 3 isn't over yet, so they decided to release the first half of the season on DVD, which ended in Ari's sacking. Also bought PrisonBreak Seasons 1 & 2, Arrested Development Seasons 1, 2 & 3 and NBA Street Series Volume 4 : Class of 03. I know that's a lot spent on DVDs. Forgive me for I've sinned.
Shrek 3 was fun to watch. The spoofs and all were all a barrel of laughs. For the year of the trilogy only Spidey and Shreky were enjoyable (the other trilogy is that movie which shall not be named). So whats next to watch on the movie list? Well Oceans 13 is around the corner as well as Potter 5 and some movie about robots who went for Pimp My Ride. Also some movie which somehow casts Jessica Alba as the Invisible Girl and also one of the most watch cartoons make it into the silver screen.
Back to the inactive week. To me, this has been a slow week. I've actually been going to sleep early this whole week around 10ish. Post-work activities nothing much, didn't even visit the gym at all this week. I don't know what is wrong (if any) but felt like one of those weeks where you don't really want to do anything. A week where I just wasn't in the mood to do anything and wasn't up for anything.
Anyways it's probably one of those weeks (or phases). Hopefully things will pick up again.

The one where Lana finds out the truth and other short stories
Hola! (I went for Pan's Labyrinth, which would explain the Spanish intro). I don't know why I picked the title above, maybe just the first thing that pops to mind (mainly due to the fact that I'm posting this blog after watching the latest episode of Smallville).
The latest episode is the wedding between Lex Luthor and Lana Lang. Never really understood all the double-L's in the Superman universe. I won't explain in detail about the episode, just the one fact that Lana finally sees for herself Clark's powers as well as the torment that Clark's goes through when Lana says those two words at the altar (yes i know Clark will end up with Lois in the future, but that's television).
Seeing the role Lana plays in Clark's life (well in Smallville anyway), I somehow relate it to a friend of mine. Allow me to define, Lana being the one he cares for the most and would do anything to protect her but no matter how hard he tries its just not meant to be and he can't accept the fact and move on.
That's where friends come in **cue theme song of friends**. I lost count the number of times I told him to move on. I also told him if its meant to be she will come, but don't put your life on hold for her. I too suggested ways to keep his mind off her. My suggestions include getting involved in sports. It really a good outlet of anger-hate-frust-torment. Trust me, it does work and does the soul good.
Right, enough of playing the Dr. Phil role (which I played out for another friend last night, but thats another story).
Played futsal on Saturday (17 March 2007) and almost produce a moment of sheer brilliance and magic. I juggle the ball over one defender and volley the ball towards goal. Unlucky for me it hit the upright. If it went in it would have probably made ESPN's Top-Ten-Plays-of-the-Day and if my recorded the moment I would have posted it on youTube and adidas.com for their Predator vs F50 campaign. That moment of brilliance was stuff that usually works in my mind and dreams.
Another lazy Sunday, spent most of the daylight hours sleeping or as Hafizah would call it **doosh**. Actually was suppose to be on stand-by to go to office for some system upgrade, but the initial stage took longer than expected and there was no need for me to come. Which would only mean that Monday will be a very long day (can I call in sick tomorrow?). Never understood why we had to pick a lousy-unfriendly-inefficient-time consuming system. Everyday I feel like whipping put my light saber and hack and slash the system server and any piece of hardware related to it. Hold that thought, maybe I will.
Met up with Hafizah for drinks around 3.30ish in Plaza Damas. Then she headed to her salsa class and I headed to Taman Tun to jog. Only manage two laps today as it was freaking hot. Like they say, its global warming.
Almost forgot, I cooked myself a meal for lunch since I was home alone. I found sausages, macaroni and instant soup in the kitchen. I added all that with butter, cheese and olive oil (???). Guess its safe to say that celebrity chefs have nothing to worry about. I should just stick to what I do best which is...damn, haven't got a clue.
